Down in High Point, they are once again hosting the Uncle Sam Jam. The gates open at 4:30PM and the admission is only $10 per car. There will be live music, arts and crafts, vendors, concessions, and even inflatables for the kids. Head on over to the Oak Hollow Festival park on July 4th, and you are sure to have a blast.

Old Salem Independence Day Celebration

The Old Salem district in Winston-Salem lays claim to holding one of the first public Independence Day celebrations, and they are doing it again. From 9:30AM to 4:30PM on July 4th, you can expect laughs, learning, and plenty of 4th of July fun. Tickets are $27 for adults and $13 for kids. Kids Patriotic Parade of Wheels

Get your patriotism flowing early and get your children involved by taking part in the Kids Patriotic Parade of Wheels in Gibsonville. Bring your decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, scooters, or wheelchairs, and prepare for a parade at the Gibsonville Garden Railroad on July 1st. Check in is at 9AM, but you must register, which you can do online with the link below.

fireworks in the shape of a heartFun Fourth Festival

We may have saved the best for last. The Fun Fourth Festival will of course be happening again in Greensboro. They will be kicking off the two-day event with a Freedom Run in the evening on Monday, July 3rd, which includes a 5K, a 10K, and a 1-Mile run. Around the same time at 7PM, the American Block Party begins in the Elm and Greene Street parking lot.

The party isn’t stopping after that, because the Fun Fourth Street Festival begins again in Downtown Greensboro at 1PM on the 4th. This is followed by the Patriot Fireworks Concert at the First National Bank Stadium. The gates open at 6:30PM and the fireworks show begins at 9PM.
