2017 Halloween Events in High Point, NC
All throughout October, there are countless events going on for Halloween in the High Point area. Whether it’s places to take your kids, places to eat great food or ways to get really scared, Piedmont has tons of events going on this month. Howl-O-Ween Tours at the Conservators Center
Happening October 14-16, 21-23 and 28-30, these tours are for all ages, and encourage everyone to come in costume. The all ages tour includes your guide telling you all about tricks pulled by various animal species, and give out plenty of candy treats. More info can be found here.

The Harvest Festival will be happening at the Asheboro Public Library on October 20. It will be a great event for the whole family, featuring seasonal storytelling, pumpkin painting and a costume contest.
Taking place on October 22, the Pumpkin run is a fun way to promote health and fitness while participating in various fall events. The run has 5K and 1-mile options, and anyone participating in the run is encouraged to run in full costume.
Halloween Dog Costume Contest
Happening at the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau on October 25, this costume contest is the perfect time to show off how cute your dog is in its costume. Prizes will be awarded for various categories, as well as dog treats given to all participants.
Trick or Treat in the Park
Taking place from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM on Halloween night, trick or treating at Bicentennial Park is the perfect way is to bring the whole family to celebrate Halloween in a safe, friendly environment. On top of trick or treating at various businesses for kids, there will also be games.
