Or, in other words, if you have an Android based phone and your car has Android Auto, then you can seamlessly and easily use your phone through your cars infotainment system. More importantly, it will allow you to take and to make hands-free, eyes-on-the-road phone calls.  In function and purpose it is very similar to Apple CarPlay, which is the product that was designed for the iPhone smartphone platform.
