The Winston-Salem Dash minor league baseball team is hosting the Down East Wood Ducks from Kinston for a four game series this Memorial Day weekend. Start your Memorial Day with a little remembrance and head down to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park south of High Point off I-85. At 8AM, the day will begin with a wreath laying ceremony to pay tribute to all those who have given so much for our country. All ages are welcome and encouraged to come out and enjoy this moment of remembrance.

High Point Memorial Day Parade

After you see the wreath laying ceremony, head back into town, and see the Memorial Day Parade. At 10AM the parade begins in downtown Thomasville at The Big Chair, and proceeds up Salem Street towards Cushwa Stadium. At the stadium there will be free hot dogs, dignitaries will speak, and then finally paratroopers will jump from a plane for the enjoyment of all.
