Does the 2017 Kia Soul have heated seats?
Everybody wants a touch of luxury in their next car purchase, but what about the Kia Soul? Does the 2017 Kia Soul have heated seats? Are there any other luxuries that it can be equipped with? We have all your answers and more right here.
Which Kia Soul trim levels come with heated seats?
Before we discover which trims have what, it is worth giving a rundown of the Kia Soul trim levels for 2017 as their naming conventions are a little odd. The first trim is the Soul Base, after that you have the Soul+ middle trim and the Soul! top level trim.
Heated seats are actually available on both the Soul+ and the Soul!, but they do not come standard. Instead, they come with special packages that are loaded with additional features. For the Soul+ it’s the Primo Package that has heated seats, and for the Soul! it’s the Tech Package that has heated seats.
Are rear heated seats available in the latest Kia Soul?
Unlike many other cars, and especially cars at the Kia Soul price point, the Soul does indeed have available rear heated seats. In fact, rear heated seats come standard with both the Primo Soul+ Package and the Tech Soul! Package.
These packages also include a heated steering wheel, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat.
What features are included with the Primo Package?
This package turns the Soul+ into a luxury vehicle with a panoramic sunroof, projector beam headlights, blind spot detection, a forward collision warning system, a lane-departure warning system, rear cross-traffic alert, and more!
On top of all that, this package also adds ventilated front seats to keep you cool on a hot day. Oddly enough, this is the only package and trim level combination that can provide ventilated seats. It is also worth mentioning that the Primo Package requires the Audio Package, which gives you the 8” touch-display with navigation and the impressive Harmon/Kardon sound system.
What features are included with the Tech Package?
The Tech Package does not give you leather as a unique black cloth/leather seat trim with orange stitching already comes standard on the Soul! trim. This unique seat design is also the reason why ventilated seats are not available at this trim level.
Other features that come with this package include HID headlights, LED fog lights, an 8” touch display with navigation, the Harmon/Kardon sound system, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and more!
